Welcome to ALGB Solutions. By using this platform, you agree to the following terms of engagement, built on transparency, flexibility, and compliance with UK self-employment and labour laws.

🤝 Coopervision Engagement Model

• You operate as a self-employed contractor, responsible for your own tax, insurance, and legal obligations.
• The ALGB app connects you to available shifts across all Coopervision sites, including split and half shifts.
• You have no entitlement to sick pay, holiday pay, maternity/paternity pay, pension, or bonus schemes.
• Your agreed hourly rate includes a £3 uplift to cover the above omissions and your own insurance costs.
• Each user receives a unique ID to track work history and site allocations.

📦 Workforce Structure

• Clients maintain a 60/40 employed to self-employed workforce ratio to ensure flexibility.
• All contractors are rotated and cross-trained across multiple sites to avoid stagnation and boost operator quality.
• ALGB Solutions aims to eliminate unnecessary overtime (OT) costs for clients while empowering individuals with work-life balance.

🛡️ Compliance & Policies

• You must hold a valid Right to Work document (e.g., UK Passport, Share Code, BRP).
• You are required to maintain Public Liability Insurance and any relevant COSHH certifications.
• All work instructions, training records, and shift offers are managed via the app. You are responsible for keeping your profile up to date.
• After 8 consecutive working days, a 24-hour rest period is mandatory.

💼 Training & Shifts

• Introductory rates start £1 lower than full rate (e.g., £18 vs £19) and increase by £0.25 per completed training module.
• Training should be done on day shifts where possible to reduce cost.
• You may be offered individual or block shifts (e.g., 4 in a row), with full cross-site flexibility.

📊 Invoicing & Admin

• ALGB will generate a single consolidated invoice per client, reducing HR/admin overhead.
• Clock-in/out and shift data is fully auditable through the app’s integrated tracking system.
• Feedback systems are in place — both for admin reviews and for you to build your profile as a reliable operator.

🚫 Termination & Conduct

• You may be removed from the platform at any time for violations of conduct, repeated no-shows, or breach of compliance (e.g. missing documents).
• Likewise, you are free to leave the platform at any time and pursue other clients or work streams.
